We have been learning the names of fruit in Maori. Here are some we have learnt.

Acrostic poem

Room 1 and 2 have been writing acrostic poems. Its when you write the word down the page and you write sentences with the same letter at the start and write your letter or word beside the big letters  and do it with every big letter.

Reading

Here is a screencastify of me reading a poem. We need to read clearly, with good pace, fluency and expression.

In reading I am good at reading at the right pace.

I need to work on my expression.

Coding

Today we have been learning how to code. First we coded a pirate to get to the treasure without getting bombed. Then we made up our own coding grid. Have a look at my slide show to see my coding from today.

We have been learning to tel the time. I know how to tell the time in o'clock half past quarter to quarter past.
