Hello fellow bloggers For maths this week we have been measuring our heads and feet in our maths groups. We made a graph to show how big our head size were and our groups. I liked measurng my head. I found it hard estamating my head size. The learning behind this task was to help me learn how to measure better. My head size was 54 cm. Here is my slide.

Maths 1

This term for maths we have been learning about 2D and 3D geometry.  Jack and I were in a team. We went on a Geometry Safari around the school grounds to see how many 2D  and 3D shapes we could find. Then we had to write what we had found into a table. We found that you can find geometry everywhere!

We have been doing sum dog for a few Weeks.Sum dog is a maths game.

My Maths Understandings

Kia ora,
We have been working on equal adjustments and place value partitioning for this term. We made three maths draws and each of the draws has an equation that are finished.
I liked adding the colours in and working out the equation.

Coding

Today we have been learning how to code. First we coded a pirate to get to the treasure without getting bombed. Then we made up our own coding grid. Have a look at my slide show to see my coding from today.

Telling the time

We have been learning to tel the time. I know how to tell the time in o'clock half past quarter to quarter past.

Basic Facts Test Term 3

Here is my basic facts test for stage 5.We did this in term three I got 26 out of 60. I am good at adding to one hundred.  I need to work on my times and division.

ASB

A few weeks ago we had Marlon from ASB Get wise talking to us about saving our money, spending money on needs not wants and using invisible money ie eftpos. I have made a google draw to show what I have learnt. I liked learning about banks.

Paper Spinners

We made paper spinners for maths.We had to use our fraction and shape knowledge to help us fold ours spinner. We decorated our spinner with patterns and colours. We battled our spinners with a friend. My spinner worked but unfortunately it got lost.
